Terms and Conditions

Any person using the Speedy Transfers website to make a booking, agrees to be bound by our terms and conditions set out below. Please do not proceed with a booking should there be any one point that you do not agree to be bound by.

1) Speedy transfers acts purely as a reservation/administration agent for our overseas suppliers and representatives who provide in resort transportation in accordance with the clients confirmed booking. Transportation is provided either by shuttle bus, private taxi transfer or in case of larger groups, private bus transfer between airports and hotels and/or touristic apartment complexes. As such, this means that by making a booking on our website, you are entering into a direct contract with our overseas supplier, and therefore as a booking agent, Speedy Transfers only accepts liability for the clerical and administrative transaction of your booking.

2) Shared shuttle services are just that. Transportation will be provided in the form of a shared service with other travellers who may be travelling to the same hotel or resort as you, although you must be prepared for various stops along the way. Shared shuttle services do not operate to complexes that are not registered for tourist purposes or to private addresses or to campsites or caravan parks. Service in resort will only be provided for the number of passengers confirmed on the booking confirmation voucher.

3) For private services, the vehicles are reserved for the exclusive use of the party who placed the booking and again, the number of people travelling must not exceed the number specified on the booking confirmation voucher.

4) In accordance with most local laws, infants under 2 years of age still count as one person in a private taxi transfer or in a shared shuttle transfer so must be included in the number of people travelling when a booking is made. However, it is important that we are advised when an infant is part of the party. In most cases, it is unlikely that an infant car seat can be provided and it is highly recommended that the parents consider taking their own.

5) In the case of a group booking, the person making the booking will take it upon themselves to act as the lead principal for that group and therefore agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions on behalf of all members of the group. Anyone making a booking, whether part of a group or as an individual must be 18 years old or over.

6) Our website is available for use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, however bookings must be made a minimum of 48 hours prior to date of travel. A booking inside of 48 hours cannot be made via our website, and will require the traveller to phone or email our office. Speedy Transfers will endeavour to provide the required service at short notice and subject to availability. On confirmation of the service, the traveller will agree to accept to pay an additional £5 administration charge (to cover costs for extra telephone and admin fees).

7) Bookings made via our website more than 48 hours prior to date of travel will generate an automatic confirmation voucher sent to the email address provided when the booking is made. It is the users responsibility to ensure that a correct working email address is entered into our system. Once the confirmation voucher has been received, the traveller needs to print a copy, as this will need to be presented to our overseas representative upon arrival at the destination airport. The confirmation voucher also includes essential contact information which the traveller needs to note.

8) The confirmation voucher is issued on the basis of the information provided by the user of the website, so the user must carefully check that all details entered are correct and accurate. Speedy Transfers cannot be held responsible for any incorrect information provided by the user at time of making the booking. Any amendments to the booking (for example change of flight arrival time, flight number, name etc) can be communicated to info@speedytransfers.co.uk. Such amendments must be communicated as quickly as possible and on occasions, an administration charge may apply for any correctional work undertaken by the company to amend and/or update the information originally provided. An amended confirmation voucher will, in due course, be forwarded to the email address provided at time of booking.

9) The confirmation voucher is issued once payment is made in full. Said payment is accepted by Speedy Transfers on behalf of the oversea supplier.

10) Most forms of transfer advertised on the Speedy Transfers website are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in most destinations, however there are a few exceptions, so please carefully check the details displayed on our website as in some cases some services may only be provided on certain days of the week or up until a certain time.

11) On occasions, prices may change without any prior notice. The price payable is the amount displayed on the website at the time of making and paying for the booking. If the price should subsequently rise prior to the travellers date of travel, no additional amount will be requested from the traveller. Likewise, should the price fall, then no refund will be offered by the company.

12) Our local oversea representatives monitor all flight arrivals in the destination airport and will automatically amend your airport collection time in accordance with any change in your flight arrival time. In some very exceptional circumstances, an additional night supplement may be applicable.

13) Oversea suppliers and their representatives and/or drivers do reserve the right to refuse right of carriage to person(s) who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs or anyone perceived to be a danger or a threat to other passengers. In the case of groups, the whole group may be denied transportation in the event that just one member of the group display any of the aforementioned symptoms, however it may be at the discretion of the local supplier that the rest of the group are transported and only the offending member of the group is denied transportation.

14) Luggage is limited to one suitcase per person and one piece of hand luggage per person. Speedy Transfers must be advised of any excess luggage at time of booking (such as golf clubs, diving equipment etc). If any extra costs for this are to apply, Speedy Transfers will communicate this via email. Extra costs must be paid for prior to travelling. On arrival at any destination, local representatives do reserve the right to refuse to carry excess baggage without prior arrangements having being made to accept this. All baggage must be clearly labeled with travellers name and destination address. Passenger’s baggage is carried entirely at their own risk and no responsibility can be accepted for any loss or damage. Travellers are therefore advised to check their own travel insurance. Should a traveller realize on arrival at the destination accommodation that a piece of luggage may have been left behind on the transportation, then it is the travellers responsibility to communicate this immediately to the local representative and every attempt will be made to ensure that said luggage is returned as quickly as possible, however ultimately luggage is the responsibility of the traveller and therefore every care should be taken to ensure that all luggage has been collected up prior to disembarking.

15) All overseas suppliers are fully insured in accordance with the local laws and national regulations and their vehicles are insured for public liability and passenger/third party claims.

16) In most cases, any problems arising can usually be resolved in resort so it is very important that they are bought to the attention of the overseas supplier whose contact details will be shown on the confirmation voucher. In exceptional circumstances a satisfactory resolution cannot always be found and so any such complaints should be advised to Speedy Transfers no more than 14 days after return date to the UK. These should be communicated in writing by letter or email. Speedy Transfers will act as an intermediary in any dispute between the traveller and the overseas supplier to endeavour to find a reasonable resolution to any complaints. If however, we are unable to do so, travellers who wish to pursue the matter further must do so directly with the overseas supplier involved and will be subjected to the law of the country in which the supplier is based.

17) All return journeys must be confirmed with the local representative at least 48 hours prior to departure and contact details to achieve this are provided on the booking confirmation voucher. It is the travellers responsibility to do this. If the booking is not confirmed, Speedy Transfers and its overseas providers cannot guarantee that the service will be provided and we will not be responsible for any extra costs you may occur.

18) Speedy Transfers and its overseas suppliers will always endeavour to provide a comfortable reliable service however there are occasionally circumstances beyond our control that may prevent us from achieving this. Such circumstances could be: the closure of roads due to local fiestas, accidents or traffic delays, severe weather conditions, industrial action on behalf of third parties, incorrect provision of dates, flight numbers and other details made at time of booking by the traveller, failure to provide the booking confirmation voucher upon arrival.

19) Bookings can be cancelled in writing by emailing info@speedytransfers.co.uk or by telephone. The following cancellation charges apply:

  • Inside 7 days of the date of travel – 100% cancellation fee – no monies will be refunded.
  • 8 – 14 days prior to date of travel – 50% of the cost of the booking will be retained by Speedy Transfers and the remaining balance will be refunded.
  • 15 – 30 days prior to date of travel – 25% of the cost of the booking will be retained by Speedy Transfers and the remaining balance will be refunded.
  • Outside of 30 days of the date of travel an administration charge of £10 per booking will be applied.

All refunds will be made to the card used by the traveller at time of booking. We regret to say that refunds cannot be made to a different card.
